Vacancy for Temporary Position Q8Oils (6 to 9 months) – Planning & Plant Support

Scheduling Assistant Q8Oils

Support the planning team in administrating and managing the orders, assist the planning team to plan, schedule and evaluate the production, filling and bulk loading of the manufacturing of lubricants at the blending plant Run reporting to communicate to the organization the status of the production planning.

The following responsibilities are part of the job :

Orders

Follow up, analyze, create replenishment orders, confirm production or collection dates and if necessary take action for customer orders and bring up the stock level of te blending pant and external warehouse in order to deliver on time to the customer and provide the necessary information by communicating with customer service Q8. 

Support production, filling and bulk loading planning

Support the planners to plan production filling and bulk loading of lubricants in the blending plant. Communicate with subcontractors align on planning of transportation of bulk orders. Perform checks on availability of empty packaging and additives. 

Subcontractors

Create and follow up orders to subcontractors of the blending plant in order to deliver on time to the customers and have an optimal stock level at 3rd party warehouse.

In case of external filling organize the blending planning and transport of the product and the empty packages to the 3rd party. 

Reporting

Create the daily and weekly reporting for planning and send out to the organization. Perform the necessary checks to make sure the reporting provides the right information to the organization.

The Scheduling Assistant reports to the Planning Coordinator.

The ideal candidate :

  • Experience in planning or scheduling of any operational activities (including logistics, transport, warehousing, manufacturing,…), prefarably in an industrial production environment;
  • You have good knowledge of and experience with MS office – Excel;
  • You have a pragmatic approach on solving problems;
  • You are motivated, flexible and able to work under stress.
  • You are a good communicator and a real teamplayer;
  • Dutch native speaker + English
