What is your role?

You plan, organise and execute the lubricants sales to automotive oriented customers via both direct and indirect channel with the focus on development via distributors.

In addition, you build & execute business development plans together with the distributors and liaise with internal stakeholders (product line manager, marketing, technical, …).

You acquire new direct customers in selected regions, support the distributors, initiate new developments and handle the day-to-day issues in order to achieve the sales targets and to do this in line with the strategy, credit procedures, all other company procedures and the safety and environmental guidelines.

 

What do you need to fulfil this role successfully?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or Chemistry.
  • You have a hands-on style with good business sense to actively seek and build new development opportunities, and develop the existing ones
  • You possess strong collaboration and team-building skills in an international and multi-functional environment
  • Evidently you are customer oriented and can rely on strong commercial communication and negotiation skills
  • You are proficient in English, in addition to native level German
  • You have excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • You are a team player with natural coaching and leadership skills (people manager)
  • Good knowledge of IT systems (MS Office) and administrative functionality are required
  • As well as the capability to determine priorities within the given time schedule
  • You are clearly a growth mindset person, not afraid of challenges and comfortable in changing and ambiguous environments
  • You are willing to travel 50% to 60%
